1. Description:
Despite being oriented to operate on the vertical axis, vertical injection molding machines perform the same tasks as traditional horizontal machines. This machine is available in hydraulic, electric, and hybrid configurations to meet a variety of customer requirements. Because of their orientation, vertical injection molding machines take up very little floor space. (A 360-degree view is available in this video). Insert molding applications are especially well suited to vertical injection molding machines. Prior to overmolding, components can be easily loaded into the mold and held in place by gravity. Vertical injection molding machines frequently have a shuttle or rotary table to allow loading and demolding to occur during the machine's cycle time. (See examples below).
